Welcome! I’m excited that you’ll be joining one of our Calm and Connected classes with your baby.
This time together is all about creating a peaceful and supportive environment where you can bond, relax, and connect. To help you make the most of each session, I’ve put together a few helpful pointers below.
Parking
Don’t worry about parking – there are plenty of options close by. You’ll find on-street parking available along Queen Street and Edward Street, as well as a small car park just behind the building. Plus, there are two free car parks nearby: Cockpit Brae East which is beside Matthewson’s Chemist, and Cockpit Brae West, which is just across the road.
Accessing the building
Calm and Connected is located 49 Queen Street, Ballymoney, BT53 6JD. (Beside Flash in the Pan). We are on the first floor which can be accessed via Queen Street. However, if you are bringing a pram or would like to use the lift we have a side entrance on Edward Street.
Baby’s Needs
Remember, your Baby is the Boss of the class, so if they need to feed, sleep, or be changed during class, that is not a problem. There is no need to leave the group to feed or change your baby. However, if you would like some privacy we have a small sofa area for feeding and changing facilities for those poonamis!
I also understand that sometimes babies just want to have a little cry and that is ok. Don’t worry, you won’t disturb the class (we have all been there). You are free to go to the sofa area or walk about and rejoin us when they are settled.
What to wear
Calm & Connected classes are all about comfort, and that includes baby! For all our classes, not just reflexology I recommend that baby wears footless bottoms. With bare feet, they’ll be able to feel the textures of the mat, ball, and everything else we explore together—it’s such a fun way to add extra sensory play to their experience!
As well as bringing your changing bag I would just recommend that you bring along baby’s blanket for them to lie on.
If you have any other questions about your Calm & Connected class just send me an email.
